The skiing areas of the three winter sports resorts Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann-Alpendorf together form the skiing area Snow Space Salzburg, which is located in the middle of ski amadé, the largest skiing association in Austria (760 kilometers of slopes, 270 lifts).
Snow Space Salzburg has 120 kilometers of slopes with guaranteed snow and 45 modern cable cars, which promise the highest quality and a great variety. In connectionwith the neighboring ski areas Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and SkiparadiesZauchensee, a total of about 210 kilometers of slopes and 70 lifts are available to you.
You can enjoy gentle winter sports while cross-country skiing on perfectly groomed classic and skating trails, snowshoeing and winter hiking and ski touring. Tip: Book a guided ski tour and discover the most beautiful places in our winter wonderland! A romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, a round of curling or a ride on a dog sled will also remain unforgettable.
What could be better than walking out the door in the morning, strapping on your skis and heading straight for the lift? Ski-In. Ski-Out is possible with us, because the Hotel der forsthof is located directly on the slopes!
Our stay at Forsthof with the family was simply fantastic! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we could ask for.
Breakfast was delicious every morning and there was a wide variety of food for every taste. We can highly recommend the Forsthof and will definitely be back!
Special attractions for children await you in our hotel! Our friendly animals are waiting to be petted by little hands and bring your children closer to the wonder of the animal world. In addition, colorful bobby cars are ready to invite the little racers to exciting adventures on four wheels. And for the thrill, our trampoline invites to exciting jumps and airy heights!
Playfully your children learn the first turns on the famous two boards in the ski schools of St. Johann-Alpendorf. So learning successes set in quickly, and from the Kinderland it goes on the slopes ofSnow Space Alpendorf. The professionally trained ski instructors and funny mascots promise unforgettable vacations for the little ski bunnies.
